Dog Care

Musculoskeletal care of your fur baby will include a gait and posture assessment. This together with range of motion and palpation assessments will influence decisions regarding the direction the therapy takes both with regards to the body parts we will concentrate on and the choice of therapies to use.

   These may include;

  • Soft Tissue and Joint Mobilisations - Range of motion exercises to improve the range and quality of movement in your dog.

  • Massage, Trigger Point Therapy and Myofascial Release - Muscle and fascial release therapies to increase movement and comfort.

  • Specific Stretching and Strengthening Techniques - Muscle and joint stretches and targeted strengthening exercises that can be continued at home.

  • Chiropractic Adjustments - Specific segmental manipulations to improve joint movement and function and reduce pain.

  • Rehabilitation Programs - This is the homework. Best results are achieved when you keep working on specific exercises prescribed to your dog at home between visits.
